On Friday, May 22, 2026, the WSCS chapter of National Honor Society held its annual induction ceremony. Current members Julia Porsch, Michael Johnson, Madelyn Johnson, Annie Walker, Lilly Kaler, and Jax Bain helped lead the ceremony by presenting the Pillars of NHS. Julia Porsch also led the inductees in reciting the National Honor Society Pledge. Mrs. Owens recognized members who earned the highest number of service hours throughout the school year and presented certificates to the newly inducted members. Dr. Spencer closed the ceremony in prayer.
The new members of NJHS are: Liam Hurst, Ellie Lain, Elizabeth Owens, Lila Shoemaker, Madison Harrison, Clay Owens, and Olivia Ragan.
National Honor Society inductees are: Layla Brown, Alex Johnson, Luke Lain, Natalie Martin, Sydney Rogers, James Shoemaker, Audrey Spencer, Karis Winn, Jill Wooten, and Millie Williams.
