Dear Warrior Family,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! Our West Side teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing for the arrival of our students, and we are excited to begin another great year together.
As the first day of school approaches, we want to make you aware of some important upcoming dates.
Thursday, August 13th- K4-12th Grade Open House and Orientation
5:00- Open House: Take this time to visit classrooms, drop off supplies, and visit the various tables set up in the church foyer. (Pick up yearbooks, test scores from last year, pay athletic fees, order West Side Warrior Wear, and more!)
6:00- Orientation in the main Sanctuary *Unlike previous years, there won't be an additional athletic meeting after orientation.*
Monday, August 17th- FIRST DAY of SCHOOL!
7:30- Students can be dropped off
7:55- Tardy bell
8:00- Class begins
3:15- Class dismissed. Pick up no later than 3:30
This year's theme is "Be the Light,"based on Matthew 5:14: "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden." At West Side, we are committed to partnering with families to provide an excellent education while intentionally nurturing our students' spiritual growth. Our prayer is that each student will grow in knowledge, wisdom, and faith, becoming a light for Christ in their homes, churches, and communities.
